What is fitUnited?fitUnited Pittsburgh is an exciting new initiative launched by The United Way of Allegheny County to improve the health of our children by mobilizing and motivating our community. Our two key objectives are to increase physical activity levels and improve nutrition in children from birth to age 12.

Spotlight on HomewoodWe’ve recently been learning more about the amazing work of new partner Homewood Renaissance Association and have been truly inspired, and we think you will be too. Founded in 2012 by the Rev. Eugene and Dina Blackwell, they are working tirelessly to bring change to their community.
